I didn’t even like the Pilot! I didn’t hate it but it it actually made me feel uncomfortable. The main character seems to be written the same way as Lorelai was written but the actress handles the lines differently and it seems forced. The main plot device at the end of the Pilot seems like an awful choice for the first season and yeah, I don’t know.

I guess it doesn’t feel fresh and now I understand why people try to go in a very different direction after they have success with something. JK Rowling going to adult books after Harry Potter and such.

I really like the teen girls on the show and would probably be more interested in a show based around them.
